Eligibility
To be eligible for writing the test, candidates need to get 60% in their examination and there were no current backs should at the time of placement.
Shortlisting:
Shortlisting will be done on the basis of the marks scored in the screening test,it will be online and they will shortlist based on the requirements. Screening test mainly consist of 36 questions they divide as two parts one part consist of 18 questions each. First part mainly consist questions from number series or matrix problems i.e 18 questions and the time limit for each question 2.15 minutes. The books mainly required to prepare for the number series are given below, try to solve all the problems or try to solve all the number problems including fraction problems and negative series problems, if you have any books then try to refer that book only.
2nd part mainly consist of questions from the aptitude books and the best book in this regard is r s agarwal, the questions mainly consist of the problems from percentage, average, time and work, time and distance, ages and try to refer r s agarwal second part mainly consist questions from aptitude i.e 18 questions and the time limit for each question 2.15 minute.
Essay or business letter round:
Once after getting shortlisted for the first round, there will be a business letter or essay writing round, it will be online and they will give a sample business letter or essay and they will ask the questions pertaining to the topic given.
Group discussion round:
In the group discussion round there will be a member of twelve members and they will give a certain topic. We have to discuss the topic they have given, they will give the chance for all members individually and then discussion can be taken by anyone. They will ask the current topics and sometimes they will ask the abstract topics.
Technical round:
In the technical round they will ask us about the topics such s C,C++,OS and other topics for core branches and for other branches they will give puzzles to solve.
HR Round:
After the technical Round there will be a HR round, they will ask more prominently about yourself and family and they will ask why you choose to join IBM.
