Selection Process:Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the written test containing objective questions followed by a personal interview of short listed candidates
Age limit:Candidates age must be below 27 years in order to apply for the post and relaxation will be applicable as per the govt rules.
Educational Qualification:Candidate should have secured minimum 70% in the following courses in full time diploma Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering
Salary:
Selected candidates will undergo training for a period of 1(one) year at various NTPC sites and will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs .15,500/- per month. On successful completion of training, these candidates will be ab sorbed in the pay scale of Rs. 15500- 3%-34500/- (W7 grade). The final place of posting w ill be allocated after successful completion of the training.
How to Apply?
The candidates who fulfill the above criteria need to apply online in the official NTPC website till 10-09-2013.
Application Fees: Candidate belonging to General/OBC category is required to pay a non-
refundable registration fee of Rs 300/-. The SC/ ST/ PWD candidates need not to pay the registration fee. The SC / ST / PWD category candidates are exempted from payment of fee.State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee, in a specially opened account number
(A/C NO. 30987919993) at CAG branch(Branch Code: 09996), New Delhi, on behalf of NTPC.
Candidate has toapproach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the "challan"/ “pay-in-slip”
which is available on the application registration portal of NTPC.
Online Application:
To apply online candidates need to go through the official website i.e. www.ntpccareers.net/d13_hm.php.and click on the relative link
1.First you should have a valid email Id,If not create now before applying for the Post and photo with signature scanned.
2..Now click on the link Select region and descipline.
3.Now fill all the details and generate challan
4.In case of offline payment generate the challan and pay in the nearest SBI bank after two days of generating the challan.
5.After depositing the fees and fill the online application by following the onscreen instructions.
6.Make sure you have attached the scanned copy of photo and signature otherwise the application may rejected.
7.After submitting the application and take the printout of the application and preserve for future usage.
8..Before attending the online test,take the printout of the admit card from the same link.
